Gluten Free Mac and Cheese Recipe


4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Mustard Powder
4 cups milk
4 Tablespoons Rice Flour
4 cups shredded cheese
1 Box Gluten Free Elbow Macaroni


Cook macaroni according to package directions I undercook it by a few seconds.

Drain macaroni and set aside.

Melt butter in medium saucepan.

Add Rice flour to the butter to make a roux.

Mix in the milk

stirring constantly, cook over medium to medium low heat until thickened

Add the Salt, pepper, and dry mustard

Slowly add the shredded cheese into sauce until melted;

Combine cheese mixture with macaroni.

Optional:  For a nice crust to the top of the Mac and Cheese, bake the mixture in a greased pan at 350 for 30 minutes.
