Cauliflower Pizza Crust

I started out a journey to learn how to make a decent GF pizza crust.  This led me to using cauliflower.  It worked! It was gluten free, not all that hard to make and it tasted pretty good.  Think of all the calories you are saving?  I used my saved calories on a little extra cheese.  I want to share with you the recipe that I used

Ingredients:

1 Cup cooked and riced cauliflower
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded parmesan
1 egg beaten
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

"How to rice cauliflower" take one large head of fresh cauliflower florets and Chop into chunks and pulse in a food processor until it looks like grain.  (Do Not Puree This)  You can also use a cheese grater if you do not have a food processor.

Then microwave the cauliflower in a microwave safe bowl for about 8 minutes.  Do not add water!

Directions: Preheat oven to 450

Mix together 1 cup cauliflower, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt.

Once everything is well mixed, pat the mixture onto a 9" round pan.  (You can brush this with oil if you would like.)

Bake for 15 minutes

Remove from the oven and top with your favorite pizza toppings.  Bake your pizza for 8 to 10 minutes or until it looks and smells perfect to you.

Enjoy!
