Left Over Easter Candy Ideas

Now that Easter is over with we have a lot of candy that we really don't need in the house, especially if you want to be ready for summer.  So here are a few ideas to help you get rid of the candy.  Also they are slightly better than just eating the candy straight.

Easter S mores
Ingredients:
2 GF Graham cracker
1 Peep
A GF Chocolate candy

Directions:
Place the chocolate on the one graham cracker and top with the peep.
Microwave for 15 to 25 seconds
Place second GF cracker on top,
Enjoy!

Another Idea for Peeps!

Cover in vodka or tequila and allow them to dissolve. This can be done with almost any fruit flavored candy as well.  Jelly bean-tini anyone?

Do you have a chocolate bunny that you are not eating?  Smash it to pieces and use it as chocolate chips or as an ice-cream topping.  Or you can melt it and use it as a dip for GF pretzels. How about making a Fondue out of it?

Do you have left over Jelly beans?  I know that I do, you can use them for arts, crafts, or to add some color to a room.
You can glue them to paper or use them to add to a painting.
You can put them in a jar for color or melt them and add them to candle wax they will add scent and color to a candle.
Another idea is to put one jelly bean at the bottom of an ice-cube tray add water and allow to dissolve.  After it has dissolved freeze them for flavored and colored ice cubes.

You can use almost any leftover Easter candy to decorate a cake with, make a spring cake using Easter candy and coconut.

What are your favorite ways to use up your Easter candy?
