NaBloPoMo prompt of the day is "How would you start
saving the world if you woke up tomorrow with superhuman powers?"
Answer is I probably wouldn't, I might start saving the environment, children
and the animals on this planet before I start saving most of the humans.
I think most humans are capable of saving themselves or causing harm to
others. Instead of saving most people, I would concentrate my efforts on making
the world a better place as I see it. That is if I do anything to help and
don't blend into the background and just live my life.
Most people would see this more as a Super Villain
choice. I guess that would be more of who and what I would turn
into. I am not sure how much of a Hero I could realistically be.
One of the things you learn when going through a criminal justice program is
the dark side of humanity. People, who hurt, people who kill, people who
plan, people who steal, people who lie. I took a class in specifically
mass murders and Serial killers. A lot of that class is about the psychology,
and getting into the minds of those that commit the most horrible acts.
While I do want to save people by my job selection I am not sure that I would
be a good choice to take the law into my own hands. I might tend to be a
little too extreme. Someone kills and animal or a child why turn them
into the police?
Thoughts like that would keep me from interfering too
much.
Question of the hour!
How would you save the world?
You are right. A lot of people really can save themselves. They just choose not to.
