No Writing Energy, Can't Go On

When I run out of energy and I can't blog anymore, I simply stop for a while. I have no issue saving a draft and coming back to in an hour or two.  I may take a bath or read a book between writing times, something to bring back up my energy level.  Because If I were to push through when I really don't want to blog all that I would put out is garbage.

Other times, I will play facebook games and blog one sentence at a time.  While this does take longer than it normally would for me to blog it does finish everything out.  In the case of this blog I did my nails.  Then I hated the nails and redid them.  I learned that the white polish I have is garbage and so I had to change everything.  While I was doing my nails I thought of what I would say and how I would say it.  However, the truth is always best.  So here I am telling the truth with fantastic water color nails.  Part of the reason I am having such an issue today is that it is my husband’s birthday.  I am trying to figure every last detail out and I can't.  Well enough of my rambling.

The NaBloPoMo prompt of the day was "how do you find energy to write even if you are not in the mood?"  My Answer is that I don't.  I don't write my blog if I am really not in the mood, I will do just about anything else and then come back to my writing at a later point in the day.

Question of the Hour!

How do you push yourself through tasks you don't want to do?

  1. Facebook is a great way to distract yourself from everything...and Pinterest, too!
