You are not Crazy! Trust Yourself About Your Body.

When dealing with medical issues I have often noted many a doctor telling me that "You can't know that" or "That location has no nerve endings, you cannot feel anything in that location." In the end many of these people have made me feel that I am crazy and that I didn't really know or understand what is going on with my body.  This continues to make me angry to this day.

Interpreting test results for Celiac

There are four basic tests that are used to diagnose Celiac these tests are IgA, IgG, tTG, and ELISA.  Of these tests the most commonly used are the IgA and the IgG tests.  Many people will get test results without knowing what those test results mean.  I have seen instances where the test results are mailed to the person with Normal, Abnormal, Low or High next to a number and a range.  Well that is completely useless for most of us since we have no baisis of what this means.

14 Days of Romance -Intro-

Starting February 1st, I will be doing a segment called 14 days of romance.  The idea behind this to that not everyone can afford a fancy dinner out as well as a large gift and flowers or chocolate.  However, you might be able to afford small gestures every day.  Besides, 14 days worth of romance are much better than one large gesture.

Emotional Waste

This image is public domain
Having had situational depression, I can honestly say that it is probably the biggest waste of my emotional energy.  The only reason that I say this is that it doesn't help anything.  Depression can be an easy state to fall into when something good or bad happens in one’s life.  When one is depressed they lose energy for everything else.  That also means they are not fixing what caused the depression in the first place.  I have gotten depressed over the loss of my pregnancies, over the loss of friends and sometimes even when something great happens if that something great is life changing.  For me depression doesn't last long.  However, currently I am caught between depression and acceptance for my ectopic pregnancy.  Every time I think I am over it something will happen that makes me realize that I have not let it go.  Knowing that nothing I can do will change the situation it leads back to depression.
